Where is Utah Certification accepted?
Utah DOT Pilot/Escort Flagger Certification is accepted in every state that requires Pilot/Escort Certification, with the exception of New York.

How long is your Utah/Colorado Certification valid?
Your UDOT Pilot/Escort Certification card is valid for a term of 4 years. You may obtain an additional 4 year certification by completing the re-certification program.

 What are the requirements to become certified?
Utah Requirements

1 – Must be 18 years of age

2 – Valid Driver’s License

3 – Submit registration for class

4 – Original MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) for past 3 years[/EXPAND]

Colorado Requirements

1- Must be 18 years of age

2 – Valid Driver’s License

3 – Submit registration for class

4 – Original MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) for past 5 years

5 – Proof of Insurance that meets Colorado Requirement 500.4.3

What are the course fees?
The applicable course fee is noted on each class registration. The fee will vary depending on where you take the class and if you sign up early. If you have a late registration there will be an additional $42.00 and if you have a registration that will require an overnight there will be an additional $80 fee.
